Bay Grasses in Classes

Maryland Department of Natural Resources Bay Grasses in Classes

4th Graders conduct Bay Grass experiments in cooperation with the Department of Natural Resources. They plant grasses here at school and monitor the effects of temperature and water quality on the grass' growth. They report their data weekly to the DNR where it is added to a database along with the reports from other schools.
